Finally - photographic evidence! I gave them each a small can of gushy food, and after hearing the other two feasting, Smoak came out to investigate. I had to wait a while, because he was not where I expected him to be, and the shelf had to be cleaned off of clutter so there was a place to put the dish down. Of course, to do all that, I had to get close to him, sending him scurrying off again. But, he was hungry; he didn't hide for long.
I'd say I did pretty good in making sure they were comfortable in this nasty cold. I didn't want anyone to get cheated out of their treat, so I sat down and waited until all of them had finished their portions. Their space was pretty darn cozy. I didn't really feel much cold coming from the floor through the blankets, and Dorian really likes his blankies. I walked in to find him all sorts of snuggly in his bed. The other ones look used, but I'm not sure by who, since I can't catch either of them.
I'm not sure what's going on with Gremlin and Mari. Half the time, they act like they can't stand each other; Gremlin usually wants to play when Mari wants to be left alone. But when it's nap time, you'd never know it, because they are always so damned cute. Apparently, nap time is better with cuddles, because Mads and D-dog seem to agree.
